IZONE's Biography

IZ*ONE was a multinational K-pop girl group formed through the popular survival show Produce 48, which brought together trainees from both South Korea and Japan. Debuting on October 29, 2018, the twelve-member group quickly rose to fame with their hit debut album and single 'La Vie en Rose.' Known for their stunning visuals, synchronized choreography, and catchy songs such as 'Violeta' and 'Panorama,' IZ*ONE captured the hearts of fans worldwide, collectively known as WIZ*ONE. The group's dynamic lineup and cultural blend set them apart in the competitive K-pop industry. Over their career, IZ*ONE won numerous awards, including Rookie of the Year and Best New Female Artist, and achieved multiple music show wins. Despite their success, the group was not free from controversies, notably the vote manipulation scandal associated with the Produce series, which led to temporary suspensions but did not diminish their popularity.
