Jordan Charles Matthews, professionally known as ChildsPlay, is an American music producer and DJ who has rapidly become a force in the electronic and hip-hop crossover scene. Born on October 11, 1994, in Los Angeles, ChildsPlay grew up surrounded by the sounds of urban nightlife and the vibrant energy of the city. He began experimenting with music production during his high school years, starting with basic beat-making software and a borrowed laptop. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Music Production from Berklee College of Music, he quickly made a name for himself with his unique blend of electronic, hip-hop, and pop elements. ChildsPlay gained national attention with his breakout single 'Night Drive,' which was featured on a popular Netflix series in 2018. Since then, he has worked with several big-name artists, released chart-topping remixes, and headlined international music festivals.
